Ever dined at a sustainable restaurant in Namma Bengaluru, where every minute detail is eco-friendly and top-notch classy?

Here, I’m talking about PIZZA 4P’s, the latest restaurant introduced by us in the City of Gardens, and we are going to share the idea of how we worked behind the scenes to create this amazing building and its components.

Flooring and walls finished with oxide paints to the making and serving of pizzas are all done in such a way that we had never compromised on any of the material standards.

One of the most unique things we built in this restaurant is the “pizza counter,” which is completely made up of stones and reclaimed wood, giving it a raw look.

We needed to bring something new in the design which made us think out of the box and also cost-effective at the same time.

Have you ever noticed compound walls made up of natural stones, which are very common in Bangalore?

These stones are not only used for compound walls but also associated with the city and its traditional temples and buildings, and also used for covering drainage. This is where all the concept designs begin.

The first thing we made is the miniature scale model of this for translating this idea to our vendors and other team members, which helps a lot during the making processes .

The core material is stone & wood, which is abundantly available here and didn’t take any time in procurement.

However, the stone is in its natural form, and we can’t have it like that as it will look very unusual for a restaurant. So, we decided to give it a firm engineered look by metal fabrications including nuts, bolts, and L angles for building and also giving it a perfectly firm engineered look.

As these stones are heavy in nature and lifting them to the top of the restaurant and placing them is felt as one of the most challenging parts of this entire procedure.

The end result was a unique pizza counter which had now become the talk of the city and the clients were also happy after all, the time and the effort we had put into this.

We are eagerly making this world of construction more sustainable by bringing this kind of small but significant changes and eagerly waiting for getting such projects.
