This Café branch of Pappu Chaiwalla is located on the first floor of a building in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. With an area of only 1000 Sqft, it was a challenge to creatively design with maximum seating covers and limited budget.
The project’s interiors adopt the theme of both Bollywood and Sandalwood making it connect with a wider range of customers. The overall ambiance creates a Desi Dhaba like feel with its selective lighting fixtures and comforting low height furniture. The layout and planning are kept minimal enough to ease up serviceability and crowd management. The cost friendly and tasty snacks in the menu please veg and eggetarians. Simple materials such as wood and steel made the execution possible efficiently. Expressive colors of the chairs contributed to the decorative aspect of the place.
Kannada and Hindi movie posters with funny quotes amidst the orange painted wall entertain and bring character to the space. Glass partitions have been used to separate the indoor and outdoor dining space providing different and interesting focal point of views for its users. This was also done to make the place livelier by attempting to let in more natural light. So, let loose the Indian in you and come celebrate with a cup of tea.
